About 3 years ago I was thinking to get a SIG P226 USPSA model to replace my stamp-steel slide (German made) 226, it has very attractive features for me, however now the captioned one was out of production so I don't need to consider anymore.

Anyway I still love my German made stamp-steel slide P226 which has got the year code, all SIG pistols made in USA are lack of this unique marking.......
