For 99% of the riders don't need to spend Cdn$7,000 on a mountain bike, you can build a 20-21 lb hardtail for as little as Cdn$3,000.  Invest the money in the motor, that is yourself.

可能係佢想帶隊時可 show off 一下. 而且他在一單車鋪做part-time.
順便可以sell 下.

做教練點可以冇架獨一無二的戰車 show off~
將架車 custom 再 custom, 例如條避震叉換 internal parts 去偷輕 (十年前, 而家已經唔洗), 避震叉個 fork crown 換款, 襯色, etc.
真係可以沒完沒了的~

租單車不可和私家單車相比.

用 HK$10,000 買一輛單車可以用20年以上, 它可用作代步工具或用作健身, 1石2鳥.

Mountain Bike 中文有幾種叫法：爬山單車 / 越野單車 / 山地車，其實都係講緊專門設計在山路上踩的單車。 ...

雖然我部係公路車...但係都支持下
潮流興單車..依家真係越來越多人踩甚至乎醫生，律師，等等！

踩單車並無貴賤之分, 你有錢最多買部貴些最重要是我們要利用踩單車來強身和鍛煉體柏.

越多人踩單車越好, 對大自然環保更有莫大幫助.

do you know any shop which is honest and reliable ?? i have 2 bikes (pretty good bike I am sure) wants to tune up and back into the track again, but no idea where should I bring them to...

I assume you are talking about road bike.

Any local bike shop that sells road bike should have no problem tuning your bike.

99% of the people that I ride with tune their bike themself.  Most modern new bikes require literally no tune up other than oiling the chain and make some minor adjustment to the rear derailleur.  If you don't know how to do it, pay a visit to Youtube and you will be amazed on what you can learn from there.  Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, this is part of the fun of biking.
