Can you believe this? A pair of beautiful LaScala and Heresys..lol...in Hong Kong..
I have never seen a pair of black LaScala. It is usually birch, unfinished and looks like plywood for small threatre use. Maybe for fairly large home. LoL..
The finished was nice, piano black done by user, I think.
Pro price too, if not considering the pro quality.... Who would spend that kinda money for a toy speaker..lol..not expensive to me, since I expected that to sound good.
If you got a chance, might like to review maggie Super MMG someday. More suitable for Hong Kongers..smaller and cheaper-$1195.00 USD a pair. Good reviews on those...I gonna check it out myself soon at stores.
I had experience with the Maggie Tympani IV driven by the Audio Research SP3a into D-150 tube gears ! The
sound was unforgettably vivid and different from the usual cone type speakers ! When I had enough money to
buy them, they had be superseded by other models that I didn't like ! The mint D-150 was the most difficult to find !

The D-150 is a classic ! Even though I am not that much into tube amps. (like solid state amp/tube pre amps in general) It is a very good sounding piece of fine gear. Used one I have seen in the pass worth a good 3 to 4K USD. I don't think meggie made anything better than the 1D in the same price range, not even close.
