Went to Cow Palace this morning ...lots of people...
Bought some ammo...
Not the best price, and was shocked that they charged tax at the show. usually cash deal is cash deal on whatever price quoted. I bought some PMC 223 from Wholesale Ammos as well, only because that cashier was cute
Did you buy that rifle case for $60? That's quite a bargain. Too bad I like to keep my stuffs in hard cases. Oh, and I got some surplus CLP. Did not get any upper as planned. They're mostly from no name brand. Did not get any scope, too pricey and couldn't find really what I was looking for (6-24x44). And when I saw how much they're asking for guns over there, I crazy markup and they're supposed to be on "clearance".
* I looked at the factory reload ammos, but did not buy any as someone said to me before not to use them.

Yes - what's up with that $60 rifle case? I saw everyone bought one (ok - not everyone, but a lot of people!!!). Is that really that good? I looked at it - it was quite heavy to carry - I have a hard case which I think is good enough to travel (I can lock it vs. I can't lock it using the soft case). If I am going to get a soft case, I will get a cheapo one (less than $20) or one with a built in shooting mat ...
On the other hand, is it just me or there are more vendors today compare to last show? Less space in between walkway/vendors make it hard to walk around.
I was happy to get the Magpul 30 rounders for less than $20... that's a steal. I also got the bullet button (that little piece of magnet) for $15.

The $60 case does have an oversized shooting mat, and it's a double long gun (50" in length) case with straps inside (very important for soft case). When I got home, I regretted not getting one (not sure why, as most likely I won't use it that much ). If anyone is going today, help me get one please!!!!!!!!!
Didn't see the magnet button tool. Would buy one just to check it out. The metal AR15 10rd magazines all look used (I'm sure they're new). When I got home last night, I realized I did want to buy 2 Promag (Magpul) 20/10 AR15 magazines, the ones that have a magazine release tool on the bottom, and totally forgot about it. I was too focus on searching for a good upper and also got distracted by the outrageous gun prices at the show .

Not sure if I will go for that $60 bag... kind of over kill (or not enough)?? May be next time... { ...
Try not to bring that bullet button magnet to the range. It's very easy to forget that the magnet is still on the bullet button during your shooting. Use it when you head up to Reno or down to AZ. Go shoot out in the desert
Do they have one in Los Angeles? I used to go to the one at Pomona Fairground called American gun show. I do not see any advertisement. I always see a line at Turner Outdoormens.

Sorry for the late reply... I saw the same shooting mate again... same price...
As for the mag - ...
dang... should have gone get that case. They're selling online for $128+. It sucked that the vendor did not attend Sacramento and Vallejo shows and I didn't feel like driving to the city just for the cases.
Good to know that the 10/30 works for your Bushmaster because some people claimed the pmags and Bushmasters do not work well together. Now I'm going to order myself a few 10/20s. They do look much better than the USGI mags.
