C-hing I agree with you too...Budget 4.5m well give HKD 5m MAX, and I guess 6 people do need a 1000SQ (as the kids get older...you do need 1 room for each..) so u need....at least 4 rooms...so only 1000SQ can give you that...

And 5m for 1000SQ so 5000HKD per square foot, it is quite difficult to find now....Cityone would cost more than that..

其實兩個女孩的生活開銷也不小，不過到新界會唔會比較容易買到樓？

C-hing, for HKD 5m, 1000 SQ foot, even 新界 is not easy to find...

C-hing u can buy with 萬幾 a month, as long as u have deposit!! but if u want new...then baker residences would be the only choice...

Actually C-hing, I have a relative which both the Husband and wife work for I-bank and have at least HKD 1m each Year, but they are still renting and can't afford to buy.

HOWEVER, they are renting Serenade in Causeway Bay for 35K each month....so if they want to buy, it would cost around 20M...

Like you mentioned they probably spend quite a lot of money each month so they don't have savings and/or they want to live somewhere nice and obviously can't afford

其實我覺得 .... 凡事必有因嘅 ... 當然照計 ... 月入加埋成 8 萬 ... 刀 5 係一般打工仔 ... 衣著同住屋 ...

後生捱下，慳D駛，要上車都唔會好難嘅。。。
