2 hours is all you need to homemade nice bbq chicken wings.
wings, cut or not.
dip in flour+salt+whatever you like: blended egg first or not, sugar, dry spices, vinegar, soy source.......
refrig > 1 hour.
bake them @ 400 for 40-50min till no pinky on meat.
you then get nice crispy wings that rival good prestaurant quality and it is healthy.
