I went there alone by myself too. It is part of EU now and it has been the Macau of the Central Europe for a few years. Safe for sure.
But of course you don't go to place you have no idea about. Taxi is everywhere and not expensive. When I was there, one night I walked by myself from one club to another for say half an hour on a Prague street around 1:00am in the morning. Very quiet very calm very nice.
