I always like membrane type of headphones. (These are a bit too thick) They simply sound sweeter to me. From my first pair to now, I have never own a pair of dynamic headphones (I don't use them much anyway). They are usually more expensive, but well worth it to me.. The amp looks beautiful from the inside, very nice. The volume unit meter looks kinda stupid..(Spectrum Analyzer mode looks better) For what is worth, it might deserve the asking prices. Without any reputation in High End stereo equipment, makes it doubtful.
I have owned Piezo Electric and Electro-Static headphones, but never a pair of fake ribbon headphone ( quasi-ribbon = Planar Magnetic). Interesting to know how they sound, probably lack of bass, but very sweet mid-range and decent highs. In theory, it can't match with Electro-Static & Ribbon, but still pretty good. Easier to design and cheaper to make..

"意味著它不是通過傳統的動圈式驅動單元來產生聲音" It has a voice coil, but it is not driven the same way as conventional headphones..

Membrane type is dipole, but 全包耳式 cover. O, well, Stax are like that too...logical? |
