Unless the wine language back in those days (1971) are very difference, otherwise the assassin is very unprofessional. Even today, many people in HK know claret refers to Bordeaux red, not to mention someone from Europe. It is almost an everyday English word in UK. Isn't that assassin should have a life style like Mr. Bond?
It will be a better trick if Mr. Bond said "I would have expected a wine from the left bank (or Pauillac)"
Anyway, don't know if this film has any contribution in helping Mouton's promotion to first growth in 1973. |
