I asked "吃驚? Why?" just a pair of entry level speakers...not godly..lol...First time I listened to my beloved speakers..I was not 吃驚 They made those for 26 years, from 1957 to 1983, I think..I bought a pair in the early 80s played with that for almost 3 years. I wish I had a stacked pair.
The Magneplanar 1.7 I am using now. Tasteless as food to eat, wasteful to dump....LOL..

This is a real good speaker for limited budget and beginners. :)
Hi C-hing
You could be right....I just order one pair and only cost me A$350.00 including postage. I just want to compair with my Rogers and see what may happen....
JBL..you like loud speakers..hehe. I am the opposite. I love electrostatic and/or air-suspension speakers. Something not "loud".. They make good sounding speakers though.
I don't have them anymore.,,. They were rated #1 by Absolute sound as most significant speakers of all time. I had the #1 and 6 where Mr. 7up got #3 and 4 of the top ten. That tells you we are old

Same as in San Francisco. My place is about 1000 sq ft, not big..but all by myself though. I was a bit surprised you use a smaller 2 way JBL speakers, now I understand Sydney is same as SF...hehe. I should have bought the Rogers for bed room when they only costed $500 USD...now is like 3k USD..ridiculous..
