For general public, guess it is good enough. Almost all my gears are rack-mountable..

Yes, same specs as servers..I once rack mounted a Duo Xeon server with 8 SCSI drive there too. If it is done right...Damped everything..lol...This was the way I learned from college and friends and plus I sold HI FI racks professionally..good chance I was brain washed..most importantly, I never had problems with mine..that was all it counts..rack mount those before and rock steady..
Yes, got a raid card with battery back up...It was/is my most expensive computer system..Hardware raid card handles 0,1, 5, and raid 50. Maybe something else..I forgot lol...Those SCSI drive are nice, Seagate Barracuda hi speed enterprise class drives..
