Model 17 has different drivers at different time, early one is 604....604/8g....604/8k and so on, they used the same enclosure.

Having dinner atm....maybe I write something up...from old memory later, hehe...

聽過幾款都覺得聲音都有壓迫感，聽得耐唔舒服

Exactly why I said hurts my ears lol...  Guess I am stuck with old cake speakers..

Nah...I bet ya, your ears are still very sensitive to MM's moan..

I listened to the Altec model 15, 17, 19 everyday for more than a year..lol....demo units at shop.  They LOUD !
I switched on another demo unit where nobody request to listen to Altecs.  The Sinus 55M small floor standing speakers with two 10 in woofers from Sweden...lol..saved my ears.
