Mine looks a bit better than the top picture ..We painted the transformers, absolutely no rusk and had someone to engrave the letters.  I don't have a wooden base..hehe..download that from net.  Of course, the cosmetic price is on top of my $45 USD spend...lol...I spend more money on looks than the amp..haha..

Thanks, very likely it is on a par with the Marantz 8b, which is an expensive classic !

Spend $45.00 USD on the amp and parts.  Cost more to make it look better, another $100.00 USD on cosmetics.
