前級以前用黑膠碟嘅時代,系必須要嘅, 應為刻錄膠碟嘅時候, 考慮到刻線要幼細, 低音16 Hz, 高音18,000 ...
This is interesting.. "播放嘅時候加大縮小"..I always thought RIAA is pre-emphasis only on recording and de-emphasis only on playback. Example I can think of is on playback @ 7950 micro second (20hz) that is at 20db and starts to drop to zero DB at 1khz and continued dropping to -20db @20Khz. Recording is just the reverse process. In addition to greater recording time, it also would improve sound quality and reduce groove damage during playback. Decent phone pre-amp specs it from 20hz-20khz +- .2db. Typically from 30hz to 15khz is more/less matters. Never heard of a 16hz and 18khz thingy...maybe a new lesson to learn?
Other than the RIAA equalization, the out put voltage (signal) of the cartridge is very low, usually just a few mil-volt, moving coils are even worst. A phone amp is required. The flat amp may or may not be needed depends on the gain of the phone amp. It is usually there for volume, tone, and other functions in addition to amplification. Cd direct to amp is just no feels, lack of dynamic headroom and don't sound good to me. |
