Actually we had been hearing to another friend's system in around 1968,AR amplifier driving a pair AR 3a,and were deeply impressed by the all round bass,midrange to treble ! We were listening to basic Pioneer and Kenwood receiver systems by then.We were then trading our instruments weekly or monthly ! We only stopped
doing so these ten years when he chose to migrate to Australia !
