E class is always nice to drive, but to maintain this car is really killing the wallet sometimes, make sure our tap is big enough to support :-p

I have driven this engine in a C-class few months ago. Generally, it is quite powerful and no problem powering a big car like the E-class. However, unlike a V6 where the power delivery is linear, the 4 cylinder turbo charged engine has some turbo lag where if you suddenly need to speed up this is a slight delay when you press the pedal down. So the V6 still has some advantage although in most daily drive it should not matter.

The ECO start stop feature is quite interesting in operation where the engine stop by itself and restart when you press the pedal again. Can be annoying in heavy traffic but will save lots of fuel.

Benz cost about twice the cost of a Japanese car in yearly maintenance but still affordable.
