R.I.P. Sergio Pininfarina 一代法拉利設計總舵主逝世

繼早前911設計師 Ferdinand Alexander Porsche (1935~2012), 美國Shelby Cobra元祖 Carroll Shelby (1923~2012) 之後，車壇又有一顆巨星殞落。一代意大利名設計師，Pininfarina Design House 永遠榮譽主席 Sergio Pininfarina 日前逝世，享年 85歲。



經Sergio Pininfarina 設計或者監督嘅作品真係多不勝數，當中最為人知嘅當然就係法拉利嘅產品。最為人津津落道嘅一個故事(或許係野史) ，係佢喺六十年代中游說法拉利老闆 Enzo Ferrari將中置引擎設計放喺街車度。當時Enzo Ferrari 話 “你幾時見過馬車嘅馬唔係喺前邊拉車而係喺後面推?” 最後Enzo Ferrari 都比 Sergio Pininfarina 說服，推出咗第一架中置引擎法拉利 Dino. 之後一系列嘅中置法拉利超跑就係由咁開始。



稍後我會做D資料搜集，post 一D Sergio Pininfarina 有份參與設計嘅車型。大家如果有D咩資料圖片都可以post 上嚟，懷念一吓。

It was Leonardo Fioravanti (at Pininfarina) who designed the Ferrari Dino, the Ferrari Daytona, the Ferrari P5 and P6, the Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer, the Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 (the forerunner of the Ferrari 400), the Ferrari 308 GTB, Ferrari 288 GTO and the Fiat 130.

Yes, it is.  Though it is said the engine was not sporty, but the Pininfarina designed outlook is just magnificent.  It is compact and elegant!

We don't see such clean and elegant designs anymore, not even on current Ferraris and Maseratis.
