如果在国内技术在行， 可以在网上elance 等网站找工。但是很多印度竞争。
每小时IT活大概美元10－15（比如solidworks, acad 等）

In today, IT world is very challenge. You need to understand enterprise structure, project management, business intelligence and the most important is the leadership skill which cannot learn from school. If you want to in the fast track, you can get the PMP. However, the exam is very challenge. However, the business intelligence will be easier. You just need to understand the database structure and how to present it to senior level management and build the gap between IT and management.

為左避免長期服務金等等包袱,
好多公司都用contract制.
事實亦唔單止IT行業

公司係好多野做，不過成日話冇head count，成日夾硬要人無償加班工作，好似同清潔保安一樣成日轉人，一係就外包給india做。平人工嘛。。

IT科技發達的禍害,
由於通訊方便,
好多工作亦失去了地域性限制,
要外判,太容易了

I think that we have talent in Hong Kong...

We have a saying in US...  "if you build them, they will come..."

so if it is good stuff, people will know.

The "genius" in my working company wrote:
"mistach" representing type-mismatch.

Good stuff that this "genius" would probably be:
a bald head similar to Steve Ballmer;
speaking Martian not too many people on earth would understand;
assisting the company to lose more than HKD 300k a year;
copying and pasting "helloworld" source from Internet;
blaming other coworkers for his own faults;
maybe having a beautiful and sexy behind...

No, no, no.
My current boss told me seriously,
"Guys, like you, who can express yourselves pretty well,
absolutely don't know shit about technical and/or technological stuff."
With reference to this logic, it implies that the "genius" is a
extremely technical and technological experts.
(Well, even though he captured two fxxking screen in three days,
even though he has screwed many many projects,
even though our clients dislike talking to him 'coz they don't know shit about Martian,
even though...)

Since I am living in a reality governed by a different set of
axioms, laws, theorems and rules,
I have not only revised my resume months ago,
but also been sending it out like crazy since then.

PS: I have no idea if my behind looked beautiful or sexy,
(well, of course from other male creatures' perspective)
so I am only and still selling my inter-personal and technical skills right now.

So you are telling me that your boss is not technical, does not know crab on IT and still have people report to him (or her)?

I have been in the IT business “forever” – so this is nothing new (in a way). Either he is Mr. I know how to kiss ass or he knows enough of the technical stuff to bullshit to others.

What a sad, sad world we are in. Technical guys can't move up the ladder because they don't know how to kiss kiss...

My boss is not only non-technical, but also non-business oriented.
But well he's the founder and now one of the major shareholders, what can I say?
Even if someone know how to kiss his ass, it doesn't mean you can move up the ladder.
For instance, the "genius" in my company is a fxxking idiot but it seems he's now the one in charge
of everythin.
He even don't know how to spell "occupy".
