The pelicans are total wild, not domesticated. They are just used to human and because everyday there are food (from local fish shop, mostly just bones), they come. They are not greedy, once a pelican got a fish, it will go away. Usually there are about 100 pelicans on the feeding area.
They are tall, standing up, about 1.5m. If they want to, they can fly high and far.
I have already had my fish and busy taking photos.
By the way the feeding people can identify quite a few pelicans individually and call them by name. One of the pelican had a disability (I think can't fly) and have difficulty to find fish. They always make sure that particular pelican gets a fish everyday.
Sometimes the pelican gets fishing line/hooks tangled up in their wing, and they will pick it up and remove the hook from the bird.
