There are couple of points I like to make. Don't get mad if you don't agree with me.
1) It's very unfair to use Mariah Carey to compare with anyone. Especially with our local artist. Nothing against Mariah but she is too damn good for anyone to beat. Mariah have her vocal trained by her mother when she was small. She is able to hit those high octane notes no one physically could do. This is her "signature" tune.
2) I understand some of the local artists, especially the new ones; cannot sing. I agree with that. They just don't have the showmanship.
3) If it is really for our local artists who can really sing: I still vote for Hacken Lee, Eason Chan, Ella Koon. It's depressing I cannot even point out more than 5.
