China visit last year (more details)

Last year I did a thread about my China visit but I didn't include as many pictures as I want.  Anyhow this is the longer version.  I hope you guys enjoy the calmer side of China like I did.


just the 2 of us and i only had 2 bags...the rest were the wife's...
































































































yes just like on the discovery channel.



















































































99% of them were taken with the almost 10 year old Canon D60 with 17-40 f4.0 L lens.  I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I did.

Haha I actually didn't know any of them.  It was the wife side of the family...

haha the bat was so funny.  it was sleeping away and then I took a few pics and the clicking sound woke it up and it took off...

Yea she's also Asian.  The trip was definitely an eye opener.  How people still live like they did 100 years ago.....

haha that one was crazy.  I actually wanted to get closer after that shot but didn't want to get too close as to end their well, excitement...

haha so true, I'd rather give up the perfect "shot" than to end it prematurely for them

yeah tell me about it.  She had to bring 15 pair of shoes and 10 handbags with her...

good question.  I honestly don't know, I saw it resting on the door so I took a picture...  Any C hing know what the heck this thing is??  It is all hairy and stuff...   About the size of a golf ball.
