It's Chinese New Year, so they might have kept her in jail lo ...

nooooo........... her friends couldn't even contact her family and it is not possible because her friend told her on the 11th not to tell her parents or else she's fked........... I'm just wondering how much longer I'll have to wait until she gets out......

Well, unless you know where she is you may just have to wait this out.

Do you or anyone know how long is her jail sentence and the waiting period before she can return ?

I know where she is.... but i can't go there because i can't go shenzhen.. My china card is expired and my mum keeps it

See if you could take a photo copy of your old 回鄉證 and get it renewed or a replacement.

You know you could renew your 回鄉證 or declare it lost and get another one fairly quickly.

只係如果charge佢賣淫 我聽講係坐兩年
如果只係偷渡/過期居留 都係拘留一晚第二日車你走幾年無得再入境咁

No you don't have to go to jail for 2 years even though you're 賣淫..... and also it has been pass 18 days already ...... so i have no idea what happened......

I wont worry too much about safety, these cases they stay in for  a while then out. probably because CNY everyone on holiday so takes longer. but definitely let out
its what happen after she gets out you should worry about, between you , her boyfriend and two places

she broke up with her boyfriend ages ago.......... and I asked a lawyer who works in shenzhen , he said even though its chinese new year , they would let her out if they need to .. :/
