I have the 2nd Gen CRX Si and the Del Sol Si. I love the CRX much better. It's light, fast and powerful. The Del Sol? Meh, what a waste of money. I sold the Del Sol and replaced it with a BMW Z3 a long time ago. If you want Convertable sports car, get a real one. The Del Sol leaked water when it rain.
The CR-Z is currently avail in the US. I have test driven it a couple times. It's not expensive. It is still considered a Civic afterall. I will not buy it today because it is a 2 seater and not Kid friendly. The handling is so-so. But it could be me. It is not selling as well as Honda wants in the US so far. Mainly the problem is cars like Mini Cooper. CRX left the market wide open for Mini and now it is hard to come back and take it. And Mini has 4 seats afterall, which is a bit more Kids/Family friendly.
But anyway, if I were to spend $20-30,000 US, I'd throw in another $10k for a BMW.
Not sure how it is in Hong Kong about Dealer service. But in the US, I remembered waiting for hours at Honda to get an Oil change. For BMW, and Mini? They send a tow truck to my place, pick up the car (drop off a loaner), when the car is done, they wash it and bring it back. I don't have to step into the dealer office ever. And it's all Free.
And it's so typical, if the CR-Z is 2+2 here in the US, I would actually buy it for old time sake. There is no way in hell I can buy a 2 seaters without my wife screaming at me.
man i am so agree with ya
this crz here is such a waste
just like i have posted it up a few floors
put a god damn K20A in it and it's done deal, this car will be sold out within a month of 2 like the mugen RR back in 2008
Definitely not in HK. And you gotta be a VIP to enjoy that kind of service in LA and NYC. You gotta be a heck of a VIP :)
Regarding Honda... seems like their rating of after-sales service is deterioring. People no longer buy Honda for their "fun factor", but reliability, just like Toyota in the past 2 decades. If they got some serious quality issue one day, they will be in huge trouble. After all, they are only big in the US, and not in other markets.
