Going back to full frame after all these years is great.  My Elan 7 film SLR has been collecting dust for almost 10 years now...

yeah sure is meaningful.  I don't upgrade camera gear too often.  I was using the 9 years old Canon D60 before i got the 5D.  Having a full frame again is like having a new lens setup again.  All my lenses finally come alive on the wide end, tho corner sharpness is a bit apparent on some of my non-L glasses.

And yes the wife surely is a keeper!

I am also using 5D Mark II. Really nice and unbeatable picture quality.

Yea the full frame field of view is awesome.  No more small viewfinder.  I was talking with the wife and she too also know about the "soon-to-come" 5D III.  But none of us know "when" and "how much" so she didn't want to wait any longer since even if the 5D III were to come out it won't be available right away.  I believe people had to wait for months after months just to order one when it first came out.
