Many years ago, I believe it was in the early seventies I rode a motorcycle from Edmonton to Jasper on Highway 16 and visited the Columbia Icefield, then went south to Banfff and visited the Lake Louise Park Lodge before going back east to Calgary, after stopping over in Calgary's Chinatown for a quick meal I then rode 183 miles north back to Edmonton.
The whole trip was about 750 miles all in one day. I only did it once and I will never do it again.
P.S. The trip was done in July, by the time I got home, my whole body was frozen and I have to sit in a hot tub for a good hour before I can regain my mobility.
