光源透過反射, 會較為分散, 感覺會柔和一點, 受光體會較為平均接受「光」, 不至某點因直接受光而"爆"光
我在文中所說是減低"爆"光, 不是說減低曝光!
要達到不"爆"光的結果, 最直接的方法是減低輸出, 亦即Ching所說的"flash compensation" control.
有些影友喜歡玩「飛燈」(改變光源), 說效果更佳. 我總是說, 燈直射, 不加柔光罩影出來的效果沒問題. 這是對「光能」的控制技術. 現在很多人在「光源」上下工夫而忘記了「光能」的重要.
試想想, 拿著一架全手動的Rangefinder相機配35mm定焦(甚至沒測光器), 加上沒TTL(當然只有直射)閃光燈......那就更須要基本學問了.
還是那句: 不要盲目相信輔助器材(如柔光罩等)的重要, 倒不如先了解各樣器材的用法及其作用.

sorry, i read 爆 as 曝.

However, I think that the main purpose of rebound is not to prevent 爆...

When using flash light, I need to control:
1) Strength: by +-EV, +-flash compensation, Flash lock, manual flash mode etc.
2) Quality of light: if hard light is required, direct hit; if soft light is required, use diffuser, rebound etc.
3) Direction of the light: by using remote triggered flash(「飛燈」); rebound with direction;
4) Color temperature: by color gel in front of the flash gun head;
5) Scope of light: by honeycomb etc

So, the purpose of rebound is mainly for softer light & change the light direction. To prevent 爆, I will do the actions in 1)

完全認同Ching所說的處理方法, 也是「反射」(改變光源)的正確觀念.
我曾問過一些影友為什麼要加柔光罩? 為什麼調校閃光燈方向? 得出答案多是:唔想咁硬及唔想個人爆.
所以我在文中指出了這個一般的錯誤觀念.
正如我前述:光有能及源之分, 那是兩個完全不同的概念, 這文本旨在說明不要以源的方法去處理能的問題
