I try to explain more on DDOS and hacking, so everyone know and have a better communication ground.

A hacked computer mean the computer (software or hardware) had been modified by hacker so that hackers can get benefit.

DoS=Denial-of-service attack
an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. (for example, generate a huge number of service request to the victim computer, so that the victim is so busy that it cannot respond to further normal request)

I heard that the HKEX attach was a DDoS. Thousnads of 彊尸电脑 were used...

用layman terms 講，
DOS attack就系好似你開左個舖賣野，
條友同你有仇搵班人走到你門口運吉，
阻住你同有心買野既人做生意。

最蠢嗰個hacker,都怕唔會開自己架車去你門口阻你做生意啦!

禾估呢條友，都系事後知，好奇portscan下
hkex仲有乜漏洞，結果就俾人拉左。

Sure! Usually they can only caught the 看熱鬧的圍觀者.

But I just wonder why hackers interested on attacking HKEX, any benefit they got?

完全靠估，吹水。有錯不要見怪：

我估hkex呢個webserver只系成個domain其中一個frontend。一般人見到，或官方公報出左事系咁多。
實質上同一domain應該仲有其他 server，
咁hack左呢個svr自然容易入手其他。話唔定交易所個database都系度同一個subnet。
搞到停牌咁大件事，個database多數中埋招。

DOS attack是什么意思 會不會是說perl dos attack或是ddos attack? ching是指用dos作渠道攻擊嗎, 如果是的話就有無穷的破壞力了, telnet可以用dos, backtrack也可以用dos來作媒體

更不明白了，我雖對daniel of service認識不深，但我知道一些程式語言高手是可以很大杀傷力的，就警方拉到的人只是说弄了什么小把戏而已，

講到駭客我是以有限認知去挑戰無限宇宙所以我唔敢講, 如果是database在這些影響整體社會的機構的保安跟本沒有人能hack到, 也許拿資料看看是可以的, 不過在frontend看是比較省時了, ching也說到了frontend, 在最後台的database是不會直接放出data出來frontend的, 這里不能盡說因由, 我只能說一點有力的原始database保安效果, database里主要有table和query, 在每一個時段中query會放出在table內的following ballance 出來給center collection active server 加上workstation 的 new transection 後再交出frontend的, 當然在整個exchange有很多軟硬件支援的

最簡單，莫如ping, 是用來試
網路通唔通的簡單方法，
Windows的ping, default只出四個，
沒多大殺傷力，
但有的os的ping，是可以連續的，
一部機ping問題唔大，但過千過万
部機ping同一個server是會crash的，
最起碼，網路塞車，就達到
denial of service 目的

"披露易" is only an public informations (companies  financial reports etc) release web site, not related with transactions. nothing secret and why hackers interested on this?

問題就是這里, ching也同意沒影響到database, 這次只是網路塞車, 為什么要把我持有的股票hold住, 害了多少人你知道嗎, 我只是不夠錢埋酒席, 還好人情加起來都夠, 這次是一個虛假的佈局. 會不會沒有其他方法應付一些惡意收購唯有找個借口停牌而已

If some information cannot be PUBLIC, then that mean only some people know that pieces of information. That is not fair to others who don't know that information.
So HKEX had to stop the trading...
