I have noticed an app "C Monitor" for the purposes.  It is "free" today.  It was used to be US$4.99.

I have not tried this app; try at your own risk.

can try splashtop remote, or itap remote access (windows rdp), tried both, splashtop not too bad, speed is fast and you can play a movie on your desktop and watch it on ur iphone. the sound will be transmitted too.
