　　10月14日，全新黑莓Torch 9800智能手机在香港上市，这款手机是首部融合了黑莓键盘及全触控式屏幕的智能手机，配备商务客户喜爱的工具，同时也是首部使用全新黑莓6操作系统以及中文手写输入软件的机型。

I had a chance to try it today, but I have mixed feeling about it.

Being a BB users in the last 5 years, it is a totally different experience in using the Torch.  I wouldn't say it is better but it requires a total relearn of the whole process.
The new O/S6 is different from the normal BB O/S;
when using it, I always hesitate about touching the screen or slide out the key pad to make an entry;
It is still not as user friendly as the Apple iPhone;
the key pad is not as good as the Bold 9000;
I don't find it slow at all;
If you are happy with your current Blackberry and totally familiar with its functionalities, I would suggest you to think it over before making the switch.

May be you should wait after the New Year and take a look at the new 7 inch Playbook to be released by Research In Motion.

If you need to receive corporate email through BES and like to have a key pad, go for it.

If not and you like games and lots of other applications, buy iPhone 4.

I did some researches and it's said to be slower and slower after using it awhile. I guess that happens to lots of phones.

I bought a Torch two weeks ago and I am very happy with it.  Mind you I did not buy it for games.
The larger screen does make web surfing a lot easier. One nice thing about it is the battery can last for about 3 days before require charging.  The main reason of buying a Torch is because I am planning to buy a Playbook when it comes out after the New Year.  Research In Motion said they will price it under US$500 apiece.
