the fried rice does not have much egg in it, and the pork chop, would prefer a little bit flour and then deep fried; again, simple food, but your descriptions make them sound delicious!
The woman with the child, saw them(not sure if they are the same people) a few years back, when I crossed the border at Lo Wu, over a bridge, a woman was holding a child, who was motionless, rummaging through a garbage can for food! I saw, but walked pass them, and the memory was still fresh in my mind of the contrast of Shenzhen, with its tall buildings, and yet this scene occurred! |
