T-34 will goes down the history as one of the tank classics.
However, don't forget the fact. T-34's casualties to German's was 3:1 to 4:1 during WWII. Released German achieves stated very clearly, even well trained German had a hard time firing with the captured T-34. It has all the aspects of the best tank during WWII, except the fire control was like a WWI standard. Of course, you can always argue that Russians weren't as well trained as the Germans. Regardless, the speed Russians able to pump this thing out ultimately gave them the victory. |
