曼聯周一晚在官網宣布架構重組，裁減冗員。球會行政總裁貝拉達（Omar Berrada）表示對受影響同事深感遺憾：「不過此艱難決定，對球會重回穩定財政狀況而言是必須的。」
曼聯2024年度年報顯示，若來季無法出戰歐聯，紅魔從adidas獲得的贊助費會減少1000萬英鎊。而今季曼聯只能出戰歐霸，本身已令收入已經大減，若來季連歐霸甚至再低一個檔次的歐協聯也無份，將令球會財政收入再受重創。拉傑夫狠下再度裁員決定，明顯是為未來「做好盤數」而來，可是曼聯只要一日未能改善戰績，只會不斷陷入戰績差、收入減少的惡情循環。

You wonder how far they have fallen behind, the glazers are still taking hell loads of money out every year and the interests payment which were due because of the way Glazers finance the deal to buy Man Utd is criminal to the club's finance.... imagine they use the money to invest in the daily running of the club..... no doubt that Man utd wasted so much money on players that doesnt perform or have a big fat wage. It's not just the performance on the pitch, basically the whole model running Man Utd is wrong. You just need to look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, another team thats owned by the Glazers and see their facility and training and stadium.... and then you compare that to Man Utd's, you will see which team the glazers care more
