輸精管結紮術傳統上採取在陰囊兩側切開小洞，將兩側輸精管作結紮，整個手術時間約30分鐘，無須住院，屬門診手術。無刀口手術進行輸精管結紮，是使用特製的鉤子經精囊皮膚進入鉤取輸精管而作結紮，二者之間在於手術器械的不同，手術的時間是相近的，有人擔心做過輸精管結紮會增加心臟或血管等疾病，目前還沒有實際證據能證明這種說法，或則有人懷疑會增加前列腺癌的比例，在目前統計上並沒有明顯增加的現象

Modulator was stating "目前還沒有實際證據能證明這種說法" but this is not a positive proof, this is a negative proof, which is not comforting.

Lets look at just ONE fact:  Roughly, a healthy male produce some 200 million sperms per day, while a healthy female produce one egg per month, who do you think will more likely suffer auto-immune disease because the "way to freedom" is blocked and the sperm/egg need to be re-absorb into the body ? ? ?

Just proof to me that there are no increase probability of auto-immune disease for tieing the tube for male.

I am POSITIVE you cannot provide that positive proof.

I am of the opinion that if possible, use alternative ways rather than tying the tube in male.

Also, reversal of the tied tube is much easier in female than male, and the chance of success is much higher.
