really depends on what you use it for, with Nikon long history Z will just get better and since Nikon will not give up DSLR any time, I believe Z would limited to few machines models. I have no problem with Sony, they basically tipped the camera world upside down with their mirrorless.
it would take Nikon at least 4-5 yrs to populate its Z moun its lens but since they have their own adaptor so you could use most of the G lens without any issues.
since sensors are having bigger pixels everyday, i would personally recommend to go straight to full frame with the DSLR or to Z. APSCs are not bad but with the current progress the front runners Sony, Nikon, Canon would probably put most efforts in FF in both DSLR and mirrorless. APSC will cornered to unique players like Fuji or Panasonic, to me they are more consumer style and specific users type machines. |
