調轉個router裝 ?

朋友搬左去個office 去 business center,
business center 只提供一個wifi login ,  
但佢原本有個subnet 既 lan, 而家應該點 set up ?
可以將 個 router 倒轉 用 ?

Usually if the settings were set with manual configurations, your friend can try changing settings from manual to automatic, so the computer will retrieve and use whatever the new configurations/values are~

用CLIENT MODE可以, 不過5係隻隻ROUTER刀有

Well, total disaster this time.

It was a TPlink, WR741ND Ver 2.  
Tried to follow the first LInk and disabled the dhcp, soft-rebooted ...
and then none on the subnet got assigned an ip and so no connection.  
The biz center router is not sending the dhcp signal through the TP Link to the subnet.  
And I could not log in to the TPLINK any more.

Well, total disaster this time.

It was a TPlink, WR741ND Ver 2.  

如果用TPLINK WDS, 要SET返隻TPLINK個IP去正確SUBNET同時又唔撞其他裝置(要估), DHCP照開不過GATEWAY要打返人地果個同埋DNS都要係人地果個, 或者用GOOGLE果個8.8.8.8

作1個內部IP又唔撞野


開DHCP
GATEWAY係人地個ROUTER
DNS係人地個ROUTER, OPTION多1個任你


開WDS CONNECT人地個SSID(1定要選手動頻道同人地相同)
打埋SSID個密碼就OK


不過咁, WDS理論上係解決唔到WIFI得1個LOGIN問題, 只係純粹研究

大不了起個server, 不過我覺得有的蠢，
Router 本身就係， 只不過 documentation 唔齊 要慢慢試

最簡單係win10電腦login左wifi, 就可share返出來, 好易set
