A beautiful essay. This is the paragraph that is the most difficult for me to understand. Don't think I get the meaning after reading it several times.
當歡場中的 "愛情" 是為了某種商業形式而存在,將二 ...
OK dude...I shorten the meaning for u....it is saying that because the girls work and live in a different society than us, they have the right to protect themselves from falling in love with the customer. Even if it means betraying others or betraying themselves and their true feelings. The Love that exists is only meant for an extra enhancement to the product/services u are receiving in the sex industry, just like a way of commercial marketing, to make the product/service look and feel better that's all but should not be anything more than that and not taken seriously. Because the way u view and expect what love is is different to how the girls view and expect it, and their view is influenced by the industry because they work in this industy they know they cannot trust customers to fall in love with them for real. Therefore they choose to betray and deny these facts. So dun take their love so seriously because it's part of their service, otherwise u're the one that gets hurt. Hope that helps u understand it now.
