it is so hard to compare unless they are apple to orange, plus personal taste is objective

What he describe is just 擂台, cannot really 了解微型氣候，年份同酒莊對葡萄酒影響, as you can't draw conclusion from a single bottle comparison.  Make it simple:

Even for top producers, the quality due to wine growing/making still varies.  Between the 3 Paullic first growth producers, who got the highest score in a single year varies between years.  Same token, some producers are better in a particular village/vineyard.

It takes many many tastings to conclude which is better, if possible at all as there are also personal style/preference
