AV 擴音機 的Tape Out. 是否跟 Pre Out 功能一樣?

我的 AV 擴音機 是没 Pre out 的, 但有 Tape Out. 那麼 Tape Out 是否可跟 Pre Out 一樣用, 可直駁入其它後级或有源喇叭呢?

Tape-Out is a fixed level, and the Pre-out level will vary depending on the volume control.   Tape-out's voltage might be smaller (depends on the design) than pre-out, and volume control not likely to work on your AV amp.

You need to be aware of the out-put impedance and voltage of the pre-amp section.  Strong out-put voltage could over load the amp of speakers, weak introduce excessive noise as well as matching impedance, but these generally close enough, not worst than CD connect to amp directly.

在比較早期，電子電路的布局(Layout)與光罩(Mask)等要交給後段生產的最終資料，都是存放在磁帶(Tape)當中;Tapeout也因而得名。雖然現在已經沒有再使用磁帶這種儲存媒介，而改用光碟片、或直接經由網絡上傳資料，但業界仍然習慣沿用Tapeout這樣的說法。

100 % correct!

I also want to try connect the portable hard disc (thro USB) to the hifi media box, then to the speake,r as such I can skip the computer part.

Please define hi fi media box...  Maybe name of the device as example...is it like a digital signal streaming box?...or media server that is designed for song files..like the Audio Pro one?

The Audio Pro Cocktail has the option for hard drives with build-in 30 watts amp and a CD drive.

aura兄講得無錯。有源喇叭已經有簡單既前級放大功能，訊源直入喇叭已經足夠聲，訊源如果要經AV amp再落喇叭必定衰聲，就算用direct out(by pass)都無用

it is the so called hi fi 机顶盒 for tv only where you can connect to the internet for movies, mainland tv programmes and has USB input for connection with hard discs.
It also supports various music files like flac, ape, mp3, wave....

有 ching 說, 佢用 ipod 取歌, 如經过 av amp 前级 出 有源喇叭好声D,所以問下意見

I prefer media server myself.  I pad, & hi fi 机顶盒 not MCOT...  Typical media server will support almost all sound/music files, if not all.

If I use any sound/music files on my hi fi..I want high resolution files, my 2 cents.

絕不可能，訉號雙重放大只會劣化音質，加個usb dac才是正途

Well, it works better, can decode most files with high quality.  I pad and TV box not gonna do it..IMHO

Server plus USB DAC connect directly to active speaker, very workable solution.  Just like the Onyx just reviewed here, good option..4K HKD.  There are some inexpensive servers around.
