Fidelity Research fr14, fr64, fx64, fr64; SAEC WE-308SX, kOETSU sa1100d, Sme V, Graham 2.2, Phantom B-44.
No need to add points.....found it in 2 mins..
Without surfing web, I knew there were Koetsu, SAEC, SME, and FR without knowing exactly what models some are ...Graham and Phantom, I wouldn't know.
I do not see any uni-pivot, jewel support, oil damped tone arms there at all. It is probably the best overall, at least in theory. It is most difficult to manage in general, at least to typical users.. Knife Edge arms he uses, easy to work with.

I was a bit surprised to see more than one SME arm (3) mounted on his turntable..

Mr. Gooseling would know how hard to please the JH formular IV. arm. It is uni-pivot, silicon oil damp (no jewel support).
補充內容 (2014-5-2 09:07):
Very hard to master on turntable systems (could take years), too many variables arms, motors, base, wires, suspension, carts, installations (drill your own mounting holes plus measurements) and it is sensitive to feedback, hum and noise, static..and more. |
