I guess the 碳纖維CD墊 is not that heavy to kill the motor

I have seen one made with metal..haha crazy.
One thing I don't understand is that the digital signal has error correction and can be recovered (unless you have a really bad disc). I think the manufacturer is putting a lot of BS into this article to get a sale.

CD墊早在1985年已經有類似產品,有較便宜的橡膠,中價的金屬,貴價的陶瓷
當年一塊橡膠CD墊要95元(已經超過我一日工資)
而一些金屬製造CD墊售180-220元
陶瓷製造的更要幾百元,加了CD墊後真的"靚聲"了嗎?
這問題當年引起熱烈討論,我本人覺得在CD上加任何物料(即使加上貼紙)
都會令聲音產生變化,但並不代表靚聲了

Happens to a lot of hi end products. Anything call hi end will tag on a lot extra. I personally hate that. It is not fair pricing. Taiwan and Tai 6 土豪 could fall for it. I doubt how many HK folks would be trapped, not many..There are always some good manufactures to keep things in check, we just have to look around.
