Any further comment for all different vintage? U like them or not?
The 89 is at its peak with secondary aroma well developed. I am a bit surprised this happened so early, may be because it is Barbaresco not Barolo, and also not a Riserva.
The 2005/2007 are surprisingly drinkable, but of course you don't want to pay so much money and drink a fruity Bruno Giacosa.
1998/2000/2003 are forward vintages, but a bit awkward at this stage, seems they are sleeping. Some improvement after decanting.
All are great wines but the question is always: do they worth the money? Bruno Giacosa is already not too bad, probably just about 30% is for the brand. |
