That is the Best thing of this Club. All the members are from world wide country. Whoise is in Hong Kong can join the event, sometimes you are with 10 guys and sometimes with 40 ?!!

I see alots of C-Hing doing this by going to Club/Ktv.

Most Corton red producers make very average wines; this is a similar situation to Clos Vougeot.

With the exception of Leroy and Bonneau du Martray, and surprisingly Louis Latour ( famous for their white wines, Corton being their home turf and the Corton Grancy is quite a treat), others are usually forgettable.

BTW, Domaine de la Romanee Conti, has started producing a Corton rouge Grand Cru since 2009. Not meant to be bragging, this is the only DRC I have not tried in the whole range.

Vincent Giradin started off making good white Burgundies; his initial efforts in red were so so. However, since the 2005 vintage, which is a great vintage anyway, his reds were becoming good; he started to get the knack. Tried his 2005 Bonnes Mares and Charmes Chambertin and they were very good indeed.

I think your Corton would be good, if ti is from a vintage after 2005.

The Grand Cru system in Corton is actually slightly different than the others in Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits.  Corton is a commune that consist of several climats (or vineyards) where as the other Grand Cru AC are single vineyards (the name of the vineyard is the AC).

Chablis Grand Cru is the other one that is similar to Corton, a commune with 7 climats.

Wait at least till 2017 before you uncork it, with grilled pigeon or duck breast. Make sure the meat is rare.

A less ideal alternative is wit roast whole spring chicken or Japanese red/black pork lightly broiled.
