One good way to have folks to replace their units is to use electrolytic caps.  Only filtering and a few others are necessary to use electrolytic caps.  Much lower service cost in a long run if metal caps are used.

What is metal cap? You meant film cap??

Metal cap is a solid capacitor that doesn't have oil inside like electrolytic caps. I have seen them being used a lot in hi end DAC and a few of them used in hi end pre-amps, very few.  Shown as pic below:

O, well, my last reply was eaten by da SoB system.  Anyway metal caps are solid caps, no oil of any kind inside and long lasting caps.
