Some of the Grand Cru wines e.g. Musigny are now more expensive than the price of DRC Grands Echezeaux; likewise for the Richebourg. I was lucky to have gotten into Burgundy in the early 90s, and have kept some of the red-topped Domaine wines till now; it was the first wine region I visited in France. Even in those days a Clos Vougeot set me back some 1500. The white capsuled wines, in my opinion has not so good price value ratio, though occasionally you run into a Mersault or other white wines that does not cost an arm or a leg
I have not purchased any in the last 10 years. |
