我係MP會員十多年了。CX 是One World Alliance, 換言之只要係One World 嘅航空公司，便可以儲 mileage!

Cathay pacific mileage is using Asia Miles, membership is free, it is part of one world alliance, means you can also get mileage from other airlines, eg American Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, etc.
Marco Polo membership should be USD50, one time payment, with extra benefits compare to Asia Miles. Eg, Green Card you can get priority for boarding, Silver Card you can enter VIP lounge for free, extra baggage allowance. Gold Card you can bring one more people to enter lounge, guarantee seat, enjoy other airlines benefits.
