As an ode to Superman's 75 years in publication, Superman is represented in both his "Golden Age" appearance, as seen on the cover of Superman #1, and a modern homage to that classic cover. As an Official Licensee of DC Comics, the Royal Canadian Mint has created this unique coin and commemorative packaging that also features a collectible stamp by Canada Post.
2013 Superman - Then and Now 50 cent Lenticular coin and stamp set. (Celebrating Superman's 75th Anniversary.) The only thing I don't like about this set is the clear wrap. It would of looked much nicer if they had used a clear hard case. Other than that, I really like this set. To see the Then and Now picture, tilt the coin up and down. The coin retailed for $30 on the release date but I predict it will double in value in 1 or 2 years.
