On Monday 25th January 2010 there was a power cut in Auckland. During the power cut we filmed this intersection (Union St + Wellington). We filmed again at exactly the same time the next day for a comparison.
Would be a mess in some Asian cities without traffic lights. Auckland seems pretty good, just slower, but not scary. Where I live is like Auckland, but we got traffic cops directing traffic during rush hours in busy areas. Very doubtful without lights would work even in Europe, not in big cities anyway.
this is educatrion result as well as high fine penalty to casue western people become regular in any traffic case, but won't happen in China. honestly speaking I saw many HK firend in HKG driving in good manner but once in Chna they drive as China guy, why happen that, due to in HKG in casev disorder the rule will been penalty and in China even been penalty still can use relationship to solve.
