Yes and no.
Now that I am almost 50 and have 2 affable teenage sons and a beautiful wife who adores me and never questions my movements ( I do still have my infrequent nights out/rare Macau ventures with the boys), I really treasure my time spending with them.
Nevertheless, I do have fond memories of when I was in my 30s and seduced young girls in their late teens and early 20s with worldly charms and knowledges of better things in life such as travels, food, wines and watches.
When one gets older, things that were fun in past is no longer so e.g. partying til early morning and eat lots after a joint was great in your 20s, but this is pain and suffering when you are 50. Likewise
smokey and noisy Karaokes, with or without PRS, was enjoyable but now this more likely gives me
a headache the next day.
I do stay fit and exercise a lot-I am about 174cm in height and weighs about 72 kg, but the mentality does change and playing Valentino is both time and energy consuming.
And yes, in my younger days I just had about every kind of alcohol in my own abode-esp. In the days when I lived overseas. I had wine glasses in my car and always a fridge at home that contains cheese and eat bits and champagnes, ready to be tucked into a basket and drove off with my date to some picnic spot or beaches.
This just about summarizes it. |
