Their back spin kicks were different: 鬼佬's kick had a 'straighter' path than the 架仔. Chings can check how they 起腳 after they both rotated their body: 鬼佬 raised his kicking leg, then kicked and spin at the same time; 架仔's one was a more traditional kick, his kicking leg remained straight during the kick, which will take longer to reach the opponent, hence 鬼佬's kick hit first. I will say even if 架仔 kicked first, 鬼佬 would still score.
Can't say that. It's different style. Just like a simple roundhouse kick, they are different in karate, muai thai, kung fu etc. Even within karate, different house do things a little bit different. So the 日本仔's kick is still good, just the 鬼佬's one has that little bit of edge compare to his.

For my 自然反應, I usually step forward and protect my head when I sense my oppo is throwing a reverse kick, but of cause, you have to 'feel' the situstion during the fight and react accordingly.
If you are doing a reverse kick, of cuz won't 提手護住個頭 la. I am talking about 護頭 and close the distance between you and your opponent, then counter attack. not doing any reverse kick.
