I agreed but the point is...if u r living inside the pool...really not easy to say "no"..unless u can send your kids out of the pool, right?

在美國有超過一百萬個以上的家庭採取在家接受教育( home schooling) 特別是南方的州  各州的規定都不同 有的完全開放  有的要先申請  至於教材則是各式各樣
美國歷來的五十多位總統裡面 有四分之一 都曾接受過在家教育

one of the reason is families there, many of them having lots of kids but poor, and cannot support kids to school.  You know US families still expect over 3-4 kids in one family but their economy is not good at all... and Southern US is not rich part of USA....if you go to Middle part of USA..will find more poor family and University there has not much students and accept many asian students to get in!

no, I don't think so. If you know US system, you don't need pay any tuition fee in public school. Then if family is poor. They can't afford the materials for learning. Therefore, they have to go to public school.
I know the major reason of home schooling for those US families is religion. 75% home school families are Christian.

問題二系home-learning會令小朋友失去學習social skills既機會。
